Local Rules of Play

General Rules

R&A and USGA Rules govern all play unless modified by local rules.

Local Rules

  • Out of Bounds – Defined by white stakes and inner margins of streets.
  • Penalty Areas – All penalty areas are lateral and marked with red stakes and/or red lines. Drop areas available on holes 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, & 13 for penalty areas to the right only.
  • Penalty areas to the left of holes 14, 16, and 17 extend indefinitely.
  • Ground Under Repair – Areas defined by white lines.
  • Free Drop – All cart paths and flower beds behind holes 9, 13, and 18. No relief from flower beds inside penalty areas.
  • Rock piles edging cart paths are immovable obstructions.

Golf Cart Rules

  • Cart Path Only on the Par 3s.
  • Please obey the 90 degree rule at all times.
  • No carts inside markers approaching the green.
  • Handicap flag users must stay at least 30 ft. from the green and park with the blue stake between them and the green.

Proper Etiquette

  • Keep pace with the group ahead of you.
  • Sand divots, rake bunkers, repair ball marks.
  • Rangers/Starters are for the benefit of all golfers. Please follow their instructions.
Maximum strokes per hole is limited to a net double bogey, which is equal to Par of the hole + 2 strokes (double bogey) + any handicap strokes the player is entitled to receive on that hole based on their Course Handicap.
